Mission

To provide education and marketable skills training for individuals from nursery school through university for the advancement of our society.

Purpose

Chrisdan Enterprises, LLC's scholarship will be a vehicle to provide educational opportunities for those who strive towards excellence and seek a better life for themselves and their families in spite of their adversities.

Scholarship Award

Four scholarships will be awarded as follows:

  • Nursery School (Pre-K & Kindergarten) - $500 USD

  • Elementary (Primary) School - $750 USD

  • High (Secondary) School - $1,250 USD

  • College/University or Tertiary/Vocational - $2,000 USD

Scholarship Use

This scholarship may be used to cover the following educational expenses:

  • Tuition & fees

  • Room & boarding

  • Transportation

  • Food & meal plans

  • Books

  • Uniforms

  • School supplies

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply:

  • Resident of Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica or Barbados

  • Nursery, Primary, and Secondary: Must be registered in school in the year of scholarship award 

  • College/University or Tertiary/Vocational: Must be currently registered or accepted to school for the 2022-2023 academic year 

Important Dates

  • Application deadline - May 31, 2022

  • Scholarship recipients announced - June 15, 2022

  • Award disbursed - June 2022

Application Requirements

  • Completed online application form

  • Personal statement detailing why you are deserving of the scholarship, what the scholarship will be used for, and what affect this award will have on your future.

    • Nursery (Pre-K & Kindergarten) - 500 words (completed by parent on behalf of applicant child)​

    • Elementary (Primary) School - 700 words (completed by applicant)

    • High (Secondary) School - 1,000 words (completed by applicant)

    • College/University or Tertiary/Vocational - 1,500 words (completed by applicant)

  • Two letters of recommendation from any of the following:

    • Teachers​

    • Counselors

    • Administrators 

    • Employers 

    • Religious leaders

    • Individual with significant knowledge of the applicant
